I am a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist specializing in psychotherapy (CBT, interpersonal, psychodynamic) and pharmacological treatment (medications). I strive to provide an empathic tone and approach to help my patients navigate life stressors. I aim to accomplish treatment goals and address any psychiatric symptoms. Medications, if needed, are used conscientiously as I try to address my patients needs and concerns. Over time, I hope to have my patients on a path toward positive change and improved health.
Currently, I am a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU Langone Health. I am also a faculty member of the NYU School of Medicine. During my fellowship at NYU, I created a course named “Weed: The Science and Psychology of Marijuana,” and I have the exciting opportunity to teach undergraduate students at NYU College of Arts & Science.
I worked as a clinical psychiatrist at Steven A. Cohen’s Military Family Clinic at NYU Langone, where I provided mental health treatment to veterans, their families and children. I used to work at Center for Living in Manhattan where I treated adolescents with a substance use problem. Currently, I work in Bellevue Hospital’s Children's Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CCPEP) where I handle psychiatric emergencies and help families and patients navigate various crises.
I am here to help you with your mental health concerns. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
